- Bring 3 quarts of water to a rolling boil in a large pot. NOTE: To cook properly, water must be fully boiling and 3 quarts (96 oz) of water must be in the pot to maintain temperature of water after adding frozen product.
- Add frozen gnocchi to boiling water.
- Cook for 4 minutes until gnocchi begin to float, stirring occasionally.
- Drain gnocchi and transfer to a preheated sauté pan over medium heat with 1-2 tsp butter or oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
TIP: In order to prevent your gnocchi from becoming mushy, we suggest you put a lid on the pot after putting the gnocchi in so that the water comes back to a boil sooner.
